27th Edition of the BIEMH. Mission accomplished
In spite of the difficult situation being experienced by the global economy, the 27th edition of the BIEMH (Spanish Machine Tool Biennial) held in the BEC in Bilbao has recorded significant levels of participation, achieving the goals set out for this important sector summit.

Vicinay Cemvisa introduces the new EUROBLOC FD hoist
Vicinay Cemvisa presented to all its customers in the BIEMH 2012, Biennial Machine Tool, the new wire rope hoist Eurobloc FD, which has already attracted the interest of numerous customers and visitors in general.
The Eurobloc FD is based on the same concepts Vicinay Cemvisa applied in the FH model, designed for loads between 16 and 32 tons, which has been so well received in the market and represents a significant evolution over the traditional design of the Eurobloc C, Eurobloc DB and Eurobloc E models, which over many years are providing Vicinay with great prestige thanks to its robustness and reliability.
Vicinay Cemvisa takes part in the european project Cablebot
Constituted under the European Union’s Framework Programme of the European Union, CableBOT is a collaboration project between universities, technology centers and companies from Germany, France and Spain. The project will take place in three years, effective November 1, 2011, and the estimated cost thereof is close to 4.5 million euros.
In addition to Vicinay Cemvisa, S.A, the development team, led by TECNALIA (E), is constituted by EADS The European Aeronautic Defense and Space Company (F), ACCIONA (E), CNRS-Laboratoire d’Informatique et de Microélectronique Robotique Montpellier (F), IPA Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft (D), UDE University Duisburg-Essen (D) and INRIA Institut National de Recherche en Automatique (F).

Delivery of a project awarded to the turnkey development division for handling projects
This system allows the sealing and assisted handling pots of paint of 25 Kg.
The handling projects division has developed a comprehensive mechanism to seal and handle pots of paint of 25 Kg in a unique operation.
The system permits sealing the lid and the subsequent weightless handling of the pot for its palletizing. Thanks to it, the operator wins in ergonomics, speed of operation and safety.

Vicinay Cemvisa hands a 3,2t capacity gantry crane for an oil storage terminal comprising 22 tanks ranging from 2.000 to 40.000 cubic meters, totalling 403.000 cubic meters of storage capacity.
