Vicinay Cemvisa S.A., in order to move forward and achieve high standards in protecting its surrounding environment, has defined its Environmental Policy with the following principles:
1. Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations and other applicable requirements subscribed by the company.
2. Promote employees participation and responsibility in the correct running of our Environmental Management System and policy development.
3. Establish measures to prevent pollution by developing a Pollution Prevention Policy applicable to each and everyone of the our projects and services.
Cemvisa Vicinay’s Executive Board is committed to developing a culture based on continuous improvement to encourage the implementation of the Environmental Management System and the development of environmentally sustainable and socially responsible activities.
As for the achievement of these objectives is essential to involve all the people who are a part of the company, the Executive Board will promote training resources and necessary support when possible and will also ensure that people engaged in environmental responsible practices can exercise their functions with independence and objectivity.
